Dina is rescue coordinator- There are many wonderful dogs coming in daily to the shelter and many die, for lack of an adopter. if you get pre-approved you have a better chance of getting the dog you want, and faster. Frequently adorable dogs like Oreo come in and there is not always someone waiting to adopt. The shelter DOES adopt out of state and a home check can be set up thru a rescue in your area.
